I woke up this morning with a stuffy / runny nose.

So. I decided to not go to work  Ü

Yesterday was spent sneezing all day at work anyways and the previous days I've had a little cough, so I knew something was coming. Damn summer colds. So not fun.

Met a nice new guy last night, I'll call him Baby-Daddy, he's got 2 adorable kids, and hell, I don't even like kids... but anyways, just like anyone else, we'll see how it goes.

Maybe I can get The Pilot to come over today since i'm at home with nothing to do.

Anywho, its nice here today not sweltering like its been thankfully. My new fan is helping out a lot. I put it on the very top of the cat condo today so that it can swirl some of the air around up in the ceiling, it seems to be working so far!

I went to go throw some laundry in when I left, but the damn door was locked, I'm really getting sick of this shit. Hopefully it'll be open when I get home from the library here.

Not sure what else I'm going to do today, since I cleaned just about my whole house yesterday, maybe clean the shower & bathtub... who knows... watch some new movies OnDemand *shrugs* I already watched the Price is Right! Everyone does that when home sick, just ask Dane Cook (=

Welp I've got some other things to go check on and update, have a good tuesday everyone!

I'm back at work today. Coughing away, and being yelled at for being here "if I'm still contagious" well the dr didnt specify but said it can last for up to 8 weeks. So god knows how long I'll be contagious I've only had it for 4 days!

The inhalers they gave me are working, to an extent and the cough syrup too. But sometimes, you just cough some nasty shit up and it happens. Ugh it makes me gag sometimes. Grody!

I was soooooooooo bored at home yesterday. I might as well just have come into work the last half of the day. But I didn't. Ron finally came and turned on my basic cable.. even though I'm getting fully "installed" on Saturday.

I'm hoping to get my stimulus check today, but i haven't seen it yet...

I saw a preview last night for a new movie, The Strangers, with Liv Tyler. That looked AWESOME. I want to see that, and Narnia ASAP.

I got more stuff in my kitchen put away yesterday and as per the previous post, my pur water filter no longer leaks, a lot of the boxes I have left in my living room just have a few things here and there and probably could all be combined into one. I may do that tonight, instead of going to Caldonia's to watch the Bikini Contest, since I'm not feeling that great. We'll see how I feel later on though.

Uggggggggggh, all day yesterday I had an annoying cough.  When I got home, I laid down on the bed for a while, and watched the rest of Robin Williams on Broadway that Tanya had brought me.  Around 6, I got a text from NG1 saying he was soooooooo sorry and he wouldn't be able to hang out and that something came up that he just had to take care of..... I was pretty bummed to say the least but also kinda relieved that I could just lay there in my big comfy bed all night and feel crappy.

I slept with pj's on, the heater on, and my humidifier... took some antibiotics, cough syrup with codeine, and woke up this morning, still feeling crappy. My chest hurts, every breath I take, my lungs ache, and when I DO have to cough, it hurts even more. I've got this sexy 900 # raspy voice going on though.

The only thing that sucks about living alone now, is that I have no one to take care of me when I'm sick and dying. Ugh, gonna be a fun day of work.

So, I've been off the morphine since yesterday morning.

I got through the whole day without any major headaches and pain.

Wow.

But replacing that has been a constantly runny nose, and stuffy head and nose.
Luckily my snot is no longer green and yucky but is clear and that means the antibiotics are working YAY.

My roommate is back at the mental health facility... long story dont ask..

I think im going to call it an early night and head to bed here in a minute I cant sneeze anymore I swear.

My new bed is so.freaking.wonderful.

I was able to sleep in until 9:50 this morning. Not even Ellie could wake me up. It's amazing what a new mattress does for you. It was good, deep sleep too.  I also left my humidifier on all night, because my throat has been bothering me. I think my sinuses are slowly painfully draining out that way.

I made my own decision today to not take any of the morphine tonight, and hopefully tomorrow. I wanna see if the pain is going away on its own or is at least manageable now... plus the constipation is killing me, and Im pretty sure I want some sex soon. Im just annoyed that part of my face is still numb.

I was actually productive today for the first time in a while. I went and got money outta the bank for rent, Petsmart for some bunny treats, to the dollar store for a few cheap snacks for this week, over to old navy for their awesome 2/$5 flip flops I got white, brown, pink and green. I also stopped by the grocery store to get a few things to last me hopefully till payday. I found a buncha stuff already in the cupboards that had been pushed to the back and forgotten, so I have more than I thought I did.

As I was chasing Kisa out front this morning, I managed to break a nail, and even though I was gonna wait a bit to get them re-done, I decided just to go and do them anyways. They came out adorable. I got light green tips, they  are very springy and cute!

V for Vendetta (Widescreen Edition)

I made an artichoke for dinner mMmm and some mashed tato's... and then had a brownie with some ice cream on top for dessert yuuuummmy!

Oh that reminds me, I went over to this guy Brent's (NG3) house last night, he made ME a yummy dinner, and we watched V for Vendetta. Um yeah, that movie was freaking AWESOME! I totally liked it more than I thought I would. Plus Natalie Portman is always awesome.  He managed to fall asleep through it which was fine and understandable I knew he was tired he'd had a long day, and he was understanding in that I felt like shit and I wasn't up for much more than just hanging out. He's a pretty cool guy, I think we shall hang out again...

I really don't wanna go back to work tomorrow. booo for Mondays.
Since my throats been irritated I've got this sexy scratchy thing going on, but sometimes the words don't come out at all when I try to talk and that makes conversations hard, esp. on the phone, just ask Tanja. At least she's at home recovering now too.

Normally I don't have one of those 'addictive personalities' that's just not me, I can stop anything when I want to. (except mt dew but thats a whole 'nother story)

Last night while I was sleeping I felt like I had a fever again or something. I was hot then cold, but not like chills. I was tossing and turning and nothing was making me comfortable and the headache I had Sunday was coming back. This morning I woke up and decided not to take anymore of the codeine cough syrup because I think that's where my problems are coming from. Today I can't focus, my stomach hurts, my head hurts, I feel dizzy, and nauseous. This is what I found....

Codeine Withdrawal symptoms include but are not limited to:

Yesterday, I went home, and was out by 5:30, I woke up around 7:45.. and went back to sleep at 9. Now I sleep a lot, but that's even a lil much for me.

• Get Truck Professionally Cleaned inside, it's way too dirty for me to do it

K so I got some things done, but not all that I needed to. Seriously I don't know how this week ended up sucking so bad. I swear, tomorrow something good better happen.

Still got this cough going on, but the codene cough syrup works wonders.. just don't mix it with Tylenol Cold & Sinus AM ... cuz yeah, you end up stuck in bed.

I met up with Ron around 5 or 6 ish? at Village Inn and had "dinner" which was really "breakfast" mmm strawberry & banana french toast yummmmy! But I'm hungry now, I just had a pretzel but that didn't really make any difference. Oh well.

OoOooh yeah I forgot I have tamales to take to work for lunch tomorrow! Yay!   

My weekend seems to have gone by too fast.

I woke up with a horrible headache this morning, so I took some more of my codene cough syrup, and some of the tylenol AM cold/sinus.. well after that kicked in, it felt like there was a 500lb weight on me, and I was plastered to my bed for a few hours, I seriously couldn't get up.

Eventually I was able to get up and go take a hot bath, that was nice.

As soon as I was done however, my roommate said he needed to go to the hospital. Not the one right down the street, but one all the way down town. Was not fun trying to drive with that crap still in my system.

I dunno wtf is wrong with him. They've got him on so many medications, he was having anxiety attacks and stressin out and yada yada yada, he seriously just needs to stop taking it all and deal with life. Meds are only making it worse.

Well now I have the house all to myself and if I can get motivated maybe I'll clean up and I need to do some laundry too.

My day that is, its 10:17pm and I should be going to bed soon.

Chan repaid us for helping her move by cooking rice, broccoli and Crab Legs for dinner tonight

MmMMmmMm so yummy.

Ellie got to play with Delilah for a few hours and wore her self out she should sleep good tonight.

I was nice and shared some of my Cough Syrup with Codene with Chase, since he has the same sickness as me.  It made us feel better. I'm already feeling a TON better from the anti-biotics. I haven't sneezed and my nose hasn't been running for hours now. However on the way home my ear did get kinda plugged up, im hoping that goes away by tomorrow. Yay for antibiotics though and the dr for actually listening to me. <33 to him.

Hopefully tomorrow I won't have much to do, and can relax.

OH YEAH, came home from Chantelle's and found the living room COVERED in catnip. I forgot to take it out of the petsmart bag and stick it in the fridge before i left. One , or more of them, found it and destroyed the bag leaving nip eeeevvveerrryyywwhhheerreee. And you can't just sweep that up off the carpet. So the cats are alllll sorta nipped up now. I'll have to vaccuum tomorrow lol . Bad kitties! High Kitties!

After a sleepless, cough filled night, I decided to get up and go to the Dr this morning.

I had to go to the "after hours drop in" thing at Kaiser. After waiting forever, (like 40 mins) I finally got put in an exam room, and waited another 15-20 minutes laying on the table under the bright lights.

When the Dr. came in I told him all my symptoms, what I thought it was, and that I had called in on Tuesday and the nurse told me I wasn't sick enough yet.

He AGREED with me saying it was most likely bronchitis, leading into pneumonia and it's good that I came in since it wasn't better.

Prescription and pen

I tried to prevent it from getting worse ON TUESDAY but apparently I don't know my own body when it's sick according to that stupid nurse.

So he gave me some antibiotics and cough syrup with codene. YaY.

Hopefully in a few days I'll be better.
