On The Cheapy

Had a buttload of coupons today, as well as awesome sales at Target.

I had 2! Coupons to use today at Kohls, $5 off, and 15% off.. I was ALMOST set on some grey booties, but i wasn't 100% I went and looked in the accessories dept, and found a cute hat! I'm not a big hat person because for some reason i have a big 'ol head, but i found a cute cute cute one! That was already on sale + my coupons it came out to be like $11 i think.. not too bad.

Also I heard that an Aaron Brothers Framing store was going out of business so I headed over there everything was 50-75% off! I FINALLY found the PERFECT frame for my Kurt Halsey print "as big as the trees"

I need to get a Mat for it but otherwise it's awesome. I hung it up next to my bed since all my Kurt Halsey stuff is in there anyways.

With all the good grocery deals ive gotten lately, ive gotten 3 check out coupons for $10 off at fashion bug with a purchase of $25. so, i can use 3 diff coupons to buy some new black shirts and pants to wear to Macy's!

well, when i get paid next week that is.

I've always been a sucker for a good coupon, mostly for shopping or pet food.

But with my recent serious lack of money, and newly found websites, I've become a coupon queen.

So many websites have their own printable coupons, or ones you can load on to your frequent shopper card, like King Soopers, Safeway, and Target. Plus you can print in black and white and save on ink! There's so many manufacturers who will email, or snail mail you regular coupons, good ones too a few dollars off items. I know last week i had a coupon for a febreeze candle like $2 off, and another coupon for buy a febreeze candle, get a free spray, so i used both and got their new pumpkin somethin or other scent. 

I've started purchasing the Sunday paper at 7-11, best $1.50 i can spend, because it saves me SO MUCH it's ridiculous.

Plus a lady at work is giving me her left over coupons as well, and then i'm giving my left overs to another co-worker. It's all really working out for me.

Tonight my mom sent me $40 so i could get some cat litter and what not.
It was on sale for $5 something, and i had a $1 coupon
Got some kitty treats buy one get one free, plus they were on sale.
$3 off snuggle coupon, it came out to be $.99
$1 off GE CFL Bulbs, which were like, $1.99 to begin with
$2 off coupon for dog treats
$1 off new Yoplait smoothie mixes, came out to be $.59 each
$2 off healthy choice meals, were on clearance for $2.29
and i got some lettuce, cucumbers, and tortillas which obv dont have coupons for lol

all in all, I spent $11.99 at albertsons (I saved $12 with coupons)
and another  $13 at king soopers, (saved 40% with coupons so says the receipt)
I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy a bigger coupon holder, it was probably the most expensive thing I bought tonight @ $5.88, but its worth it to stay completely organized and prepared.

So if i can keep up this coupon-ing and major budgeting I may be some how able to survive.
I have an interview tomorrow @ 11 for Macy's part time. We'll see how that goes. I'd prefer if it was a location down the street from me, but can't be too picky right now. Money's money.

I made some YUMMY French Onion burgers for dinner tonight, Heavenly! I'm surprised I'm up so late actually. Today though was way less stressful at work than yesterday. I came home and went to bed at 6:30 yesterday. I've discovered my body just shuts down when i get too stressed anymore, which I guess is fine with me. I've gotta go throw some laundry in the dryer and hope that the power doesnt go out for the 3rd or 4th time this week during the middle of the night/early morning. Luckily i use the alarm clock on my phone as well. 

Atc said he'd like to hang out again this week some time, so i left it up to him depending on his schedule, cuz well, mine never changes.

I'm finishing up watching Jimmy Fallon's Yacht Rock episode, effing HILARIOUS i Love him he cracks me up all the time.

My weekend has been filled with a lot of nothing....

Friday night, I fell asleep around 7pm... woke up for good around 930 saturday morning.
At least I got caught up on sleep!

I cant recall doing anything of substance Saturday...
However I managed to sell my old phone on craigslist for $80.
The Egyptian also came over for a few...

Today I went back to target to try to use more of my gift card, mostly bought groceries, still have $18 left on it!

Went to the regular grocery store and bought some necessities, found my rockstars 2/$3!!!!! They werent on the regular shelf, they were in the cold case, and I bought all they had left, 6 of'em. GO ME. And also stocked up on pomegranate lemonade MmMMm

I heard the broncos won in the last few seconds, good for them. Next weekend, def. going to the bar to watch the games, i hate not having TV right now!

Threw some laundry in the washer... waiting for it to do its thang..
In the meantime, I might just take a nap. . . I *could* clean the litter box and bunnies but ehhhh.

I'm thinking I left my makeup bag @ work friday because i can't find it ANYWHERE around the house.. hopefully its there... good thing i didnt plan on going out this weekend..

Is it just me or has this day drug itself out. Seriously.
It was going good up until lunch time, and then slowed down.
Now it feels like its completely halted.

During lunch today I went to Target and bought some cute pink gym shorts for $7.99,
and then I saw cute cute socks, 5/$5 Couldn't pass those up!

After work I stopped by Ross to find some new tennis shoes, which I did. The ones i have kinda squish my toesies and make it uncomfortable to work out in. Proud to say I went to the gym twice this week, one of them I went swimming, and realized I have no lung capacity anymore whatsoever. So I'll be working on that. I plan on going tonight as well. Dunno about swimming though, Ive had this horrible cramp in my upper arm all day I must have slept on it weird because its very painful to lift it at all.

I was also looking at the comforters and sheets at Ross, but I couldn't decide, and put back the purple satin sheets I'd found thinking that the cats would probably just tear them up anyways...

I've got a huge new INstyle to read, I think I'll take it with me to the gym, may give me motivation to stay on some cardio machine longer.... I lose focus so quickly lol.

I received a call back from the HOA today, after I left a message about noise complaints and people sitting out front blaring their music while they wait for someone. He gave me a number for the "security" guy, "Chuck". No idea who he is. But said to call him or the police in the evenings if I'm highly annoyed (=

I need to send my NetFlix movies back, I've been majorly slacking this week on that.
Friday is Payday.
Saturday is Root Canal Day
and possibly get nails done day.

Super duper exciting right? I'm also gonna see about getting at least 2 new tires. I think I can afford 2.
Tyler also said he'd do my front brakes for me, cuz he's awesome like that.

Man I've been puttin around all day doin absolutely nothing.

I attempted to wake up and go to the turbo kick boxing class at the gym, but I just couldn't get outta bed, so that was a fail. Whatevs

Discovery has had 2 days worth of Deadliest Catch marathon on, so I've been watching that since oh, yesterday.

I decided to return the cute shorts I got at Old Navy, they just weren't gonna work. I've got this up and down 5 lbs thing going n and it just needs to go away. I really just need to be at the gym a LOT doing TONS of cardio and I can drop it. Ahh to have motivation.

So I checked out Sears, Dilliards (thats a joke), and American Eagle, where I actually picked up 2 cute tops. So the day wasn't completely wasted in that sense.

What I need to do now, is throw some laundry in the washer, put away the clean stuff that's on my bed that the cats are laying on, put the computer desk back in it's place,  put away clean dishes and load the dirty ones, clean the litter box and maybe the bunnies they might wait till tomorrow though.

ATC and I are gonna watch fireworks tonight so I wanna have the place lookin ok by the time he gets here LoL.

I just realized the idiot at old navy returned my shorts on to LISA'S card even though I had mine out and ran it through the machine. F'n tard. Now I have to go back AGAIN. Might wait till tomorrow though so I can get some stuff done.

When you have a working AC unit!! Hells yeah!! That's right everyone, I finally got a brand spankin new AC unit put in, and a custom made screen for my window!!!!!!!!!! It took them about 4 hours but they got it done and I've been relaxing in my AC's apartment all evening. I hope I sleep good tonight!

I slept a ton better with my 2 new pillows last night, I ALMOST went back and bought more today, but I decided to think about it instead.

I got 2 b-day cards in the mail today w/$125 in them, combined that is. And now that I have money, I don't know what to buy??   Went to Kohls today, and all I found was a turquoise knit coverup sweater thing on clearance for 8 bucks.

Thinking I need to pick up a pencil skirt. Because almost everyone on What not to wear gets one and it looks good. I may go to JCP tomorrow and see what they have. There was a cute one on their website, but it was outlet only, and out of my size. Dammit!

Ugh Ive got like 3 hangnails of doom right now They are driving me crazy! I just put some neosporin on them hopefully that will help over night.

There's an ad, over to the right of this window, for dunkin donuts coffee coolatta... thanks, now I want one. Jerks.

Today Lisa and I went to Old Navy during lunch to take part in their awesome sale going on. (Grandma sent bday money!) We were stoked for the $9 capris...however, all the ones we tried on looked ridiculous, or were not stretchy enough for our fat asses LoL. I thought to myself in the dressing room, oh time to go to the gym. haha.

I managed to grab a cute pair of plaid shorts of course, not on sale, I'm not 100% sure I'm keeping them yet. We'll see. Picked up a few $5 tank tops and some clearance underwear!

Got my hair re-layered after work. Finally found someone who did what I actually asked! Thank goodness. 

Went to target to get a Universal Remote, listed @ $6.99. No biggie, when I got to the check out line, I saw the EXACT same remote, no difference whatsoever, other than the plastic packaging was 2/3 the size of the other, and it was 2 dollars cheaper!!! So der I picked that one. I also walked out with 2 new pillows, they were $4.44 each.. can't pass that up, and I really did need them... and I found some cute green loungey/work out pants for $3 and a cute one shoulder ruffly top for $3 something as well!

Battery

When i got home I realized that batteries weren't included in the remote, ugh, who uses AAA sizes anymore really?! So then just now I went to the grocery store and got some batteries, bought a new light bulb for the freezer, and a 2 liter of sprite, to drink with my Vodka tomorrow since I DON'T HAVE TO WORK!!!!!!!!!! woooohoooo!!!

I'm pondering going to the gym in the morning ish time... 10 maybe? We'll see how that works out.

My cable (the digital part) got turned off yesterday. BooHoo...but if I plug the cable directly into the tv I still get basic channels, so that's good. Maybe this next check I can pay some of it, we'll see.

Not quite sure what's going on for the 4th. Maybe I can get ATC to come over and watch the fireworks with me since they're let off not too far from my house we could walk down there. Yup Yup.

Was hoping to get  my birthday card from my mom in the mail today, but no luck. Looks like it'll be Monday. Hopefully my bracelet she bought shows up Mon or Tuesday as well.

So there! Big EFF YOU to Washington Mutual/JPMorgan Chase. I've had all I can deal with of them, so today after work I went and closed my account and took my $78.16 with me! A holes. The guy asked me is there a reason why?... and I said oh... there's MANY REASONS WHY... he chuckled and continued on with the transaction. Didn't seem too surprised by it. I'm sure there's a lot of customers out there that have closed their accounts since Chase took over. I really don't like their customer service, all obviously over seas, outsourced BS. I hope they're the next to go under.

I have already redirected my direct deposit to my credit union savings account, so that should be good to go by next paycheck. I have to pay off an old debt to the NV credit union, and then I can open a checking account with this new one. All will be well. I still have my paypal account so my mom can send me money, and I still have a debit card to be able to use. Sooo it *should* all work out.

Final Approach

Melissa got her plane ticket today to come visit for my bday party!! I'm sooooooooooo essited! My boss is even letting me leave 2 hours early on Friday the 10th.  I'm going to get us tickets to a Rockies game while she's here, I have a coupon for 10 dollar tickets. Kickass! So we're either going to go friday or saturday I havent quite decided yet. After the game we're gonna drink it up and party downtown! I'm totally stoked!

My mom said she ordered my bracelet/bday present last night, dunno what it looks like or when I'm getting it though... soon, maybe this week? And my grandma is giving her money for my bday present for her to deposit for me tomorrow. So that's kick ass. So yaaay my bday's a week from today!  Booo for getting older though LoL.

I dont really have much to do around the house, its all pretty clean. I could put the rest of my laundry away... and maybe clean the litter box... but I dunno bout all that
