If you’ve ever heard about, visited or lived in Denver, you’ve heard of the #7 John Elway.

He’s reveled (in some fans eyes) as one of the best quarterbacks in history. He was part of the Denver Broncos from 1983 until 1998. If you check out his stats from his pro years he was part of the pro bowl 9 times in his career as well as receiving many honors and awards including the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which he was inducted into the first year he was eligible!

Denver Broncos History just wouldn’t be the same without Elway in it. At the time of his retirement he had the NFL record for wins by a quarterback, had more 4th quarter comebacks than anyone in history and ranked in the top 3 in yards, completions, and attempts.
 

Since his retirement he has owned many car dealerships throughout the Denver-Metro area as well as Elways restaurant. He’s been known to coach his son’s football team as well. Will Denver have another generation of Elway in the future? We hope so!
