This week has been a hectic one, 40 hours @ dmv, another 24 at Macy's.
The rude ass customers have made it so miserable.
Yesterday afternoon my boss called me into his office to do my yearly review, odd since my anniv isnt till the 31st... and theyre usually way behind. He said he HAD to do it now cuz shit was changing, whatever works for me!
So I got a "successful" rating, Meaning i do my job, do it well, i help out other ppl, and customers, and i pretty much have done everything in the back office and trained other ppl to do it as well. And after i brought up for the 2nd time i didnt wanna deal with the phones anymore, while he was getting my ppwk signed by the director he brought it up to her that I havent been up front yet, and that would take me from a motor vehicle tech 1, to a tech 2, (lil bit more money) but then i would be a fully trained clerk in all aspects, and she thought that was a wonderful idea. Ugh i thought of this 4 months ago ppl sheesh can i get some credit?
So the memo went out today and it's official, January 4th I will be moved to the front counters. w00t. A change of pace is all i really want, we'll see if its any better.
So bossman told me today that there were only 2 concerns:
1. being on TIME, yes this is an issue for me, i like sleep and im not a morning person and i work a lot.
2. My ahem.. "endowment" meaning, my boobs. I looked at him and said WTF ??? The mgr up front brought that up. my boss said uhm, her boobs are under control, she has no issues with that. Then i said, uhm, well has she SEEN Jaleysa's boobs? she's got at LEAST double what i have and her shits poppin out all over the place!!! We laughed about it and he said, well you know that manager, shes kinda flat, she doesnt really know what you guys go through, you cant hide 'em if you tried...
At first i was confused/amused by it and then I got pissed off by it. Seriously, thats your concern? My boss showed her my stats, this year I have processed and or answered 33,323 phone calls / titles / renewals. That's a lot for one person. She pretty much shut up after that.
I feel like i'm on auto pilot/zombie mode right now. Just got home from macys a while ago, and just tryin to chill out and get tired so i can sleep. last night i stayed on the couch again, some reason it makes my hips feel better. Makes no sense. my $400 pillow top mattress should do that, right?
The cats have been super needy lately requiring lots of pettin's , i'm sure its just cuz i'm gone about 14 hours of the day. Thank goodness i have friday night off, i'm sooooooooooo looking forward to it.
can't believe xmas is a week away, wonder if i'll get any xmas cards with $$$ in them, that'd be nice!
k its 1:15 am, i should really go lay down somewhere and sleep, this couch is very tempting though...
Argh, here's my schedule for Macys for the next 2 weeks. Oh yes, I'm working the night after Christmas, that will be a joy.
This is all on top of my m-f 8-4:30 job. Most nights will be till either 10:30 or 12:15. I'll be a zombie.
I just COULDNT go into work today. I was SO tired, and my body is SO sore.
Last night just before closing i raised my arms to adjust my hair, and my back spazzzed out hard core and I just had to stand there and make my body relax until it let go... ugh that sucked.
So when I called in today I just told them that my back was out and I couldnt move. If i went in today I'm sure it would happen for realsies. My hips/knees/ankles/feet just could not take another 8 hours of standing. plus its snowing again, thats a good reason, right?
I figure, I'm working 4 hours of OT at the DMV next saturday, so that's half the time, and double the money i'd be missing out from today so its all good.
Last night after work I went to cameron's and we played his wii, the new mario bros game, it was hard, but as a team we got further than he did alone, i found the secret tunnel to level 5! w00t.
Today I FINALLY got to turn on and set up MY OWN Wiiiii yaaay.
If any of you neighbors have one and want to share your wii's let me know your # and l'll add u!
Ive only played wii sports today and downloaded the internet to it, i was unaware until cam told me that it has wireless built in which is hella cool! It has more features than I even knew about!! Lovin' it!!
I need to clean up the house and do some laundry. The 6 month inspection or whatever for my apt is Monday afternoon *which i took off from dmv yay, so its gottta be semi-in order.
I should run over to 7-11 and get some caffeine and a news paper... maybe...when I put some pants on.
Finished unpacking everything. All I have left is the new pots and pans and my suitcase.
Need to put all the empty boxes out in the storage to save for moving, no sense in throwing them away!
I'd like to play my wii tonight, but I also want to go to bed soon, I might try to do that in a few, not sure it'll work though.

- Weds: 7-11:30
- Thurs: 7-11:30
- Friday: 7-11:30
- Saturday 2:45-11:30
- Sunday 10:45-7:15

Today we were told there's a huge possibility of MANDATORY overtime @ the DMV on Dec 12th. Just 4 hours, but still. The $$ will be nice. We'll see if they really go through with it.
Ugh one of the cats just took a stank-ass-poo.
Lisa and Nick are going to take my old tv, yay i dont have to try and sell it on craigslist. Only asking $40 for it anyways. So hopefully they come and get it in the next few days and I can deposit that $$, I also have $10 in rebates from SCJohnson that I need to go put in the bank tomorrow! I keep forgetting, well, I keep over sleeping in the AM and rushing to work.
So, it's 9pm, wonder if I could fall asleep anytime soon.....
We'll see how much i have to say i havent updated in a few days.
I just got home from work at Macy's, only 4.5 hours today thank god. Made the mistake of wearing my "comfy heels" with the inserts, yeah, STILL HURT after 2 hours I was D-Y-I-N-G. Not one single pair of shoes i own, flat, or otherwise is comfortable to wear for a full shit, 4 or 8 hours. So frustrating.
Last night, myself, Cameron and Josh went to Fridays for bingo, but yet again did not WIN. UGH so aggravating! Next week the pot will be up to $200, and i wont be there, and the next Saturday I have to work!
The week after thanksgiving, i'm scheduled at macy's wed-thurs-fri 7-11:30, and saturday 2:45-11:30. Who's crazy idea is this?! Trying to killl me!! Those are on top of the normal 8-5 dmv job argh. Just think of the $$ Sara...
I really wish I could see the chiropractor before driving 14 hours to Nevada, but doesnt look like it'll happen, i have no money available. My mom is sending me money tuesday for gas to make it there.
I still havent cleaned the house, or done my laundry, or really anything that needs to be done prior to leaving. I NEED to do it tonight, I did manage to get the bunnies cleaned this morning. Ellie still needs a bath, and I need to pack. I really want to vacuum the car out, but again, no quarters to do so.
ATC and I were supposed to hang out tonight, but that's been pushed back to tomorrow, he bought a 1971 - 21' Trailer, ya know the kind with the bed, kitchen, shower etc.. it needs some repairs done on it, but he only paid like $760 for it, So he's all stoked about that project.
Looking forward to getting to bed at a decent hour tonight, we'll see how that pans out, I NEED to be productive, so as soon as my feet stop hurting, Ill get right on that. Good thing is, I've lost about 5 lbs or so from having this second job, since I'm not sittin on my ass at home snacking, and I'm moving around constantly there.
Waiting for Transformers 2 to copy here so I can send the disc back to netflix and by the time i get back from NV ill have some new stuff to watch!
Mom plans on buying my xmas presents while im there for thanksgiving so I can just bring them back. So i'm hoping for a Wii, and some new pots and pans and some clothes and whatever else we can find! Will be seeing my bff Jenny on weds, the night I get in, and then Melissa and I will be hanging out the rest of the time when we can! Im not usually excited to go back to NV but I think it will be a good trip. Ellie and I will be staying with my grandma so that'll be good for her!
Need to go find something to make this massive headache go away, and then cook some dinner and clean! Super duper exciting, hope you all had a good weekend... Oh yeah and WTF broncos, you lost by 30 points, who does that?

So get this, last night after bingo (which we didnt win ugh) ATC was on his way home, and it was snowing out as it has been all weekend, and taking his exit to the conjoined highway a suburban in front of him went off the road and flipped into the side area... apparently the pregnant girl inside got ejected somehow, he didnt see her at first though, but since the 'burban was laying on the passenger side he climbed in through the drivers side, and saw there was a man in the middle row of seats, he had to kick OUT the windshield, and pull the guy out. That caused his hands to get all cut up, he then noticed the girl laying out on the side, and covered her up with his shirt and somethin else from his truck and took care of them until the police and ambulance came!
How freakin crazy is that! He called me all excited telling me what happened and every detail, then sent me pics of his bloody hands and shirt LOL Weirdo. So I told him that was his super hero moment for the year and he should be good on karma for a while!
I almost wish I'd a gone home with him so I could have been part of that all! Next time..
I made it to Macy's today avoiding lots of accidents, the freeways were pretty slushy and made for some crazy driving! I saw a hatchback get covered in slush that was being thrown up from a utility trailer being towed, that freaked that HB driver out I could tell.
It was pretty slow today so made for a lot of standing around. Around 4 I asked my managers assistant if it'd be ok for me to go home early (3 hours) because it was so slow, and there were 3 of us there, and I'd pretty much been trained on everything (and my feet were killing me). She agreed after a lil encouragement from me, I said hey! your labor costs will be a lil lower today think of it that way!
My mom sent me some $ to do a lil bit of shopping for work clothes, I got these two sweaters.. this one is just a cover up, but i really like that lacy detail on the back, Ill wear a cute colored shirt underneath it.
also found this cute ring on clearance in my dept came out to about $5

Stopped by target and finally got some shoe inserts, god I hope these will help.
I got the massaging Gel "for her" on the left, and Massaging gel "work": "Ideal for hard working feet, tough enough for men who work on their feet." So hopefully they work out!
Its 7:30 now, feels like it could be 10. I'm pooped. I dont have a full day off until thanksgiving, will either be one job or both every day between now and the 24th.
I'm gonna go relax while I can!
Not so much though, my head/jaw/mouth feels better.
My FEET are KILLING me.
I only stood for about 4 hours but o.m.g. they hurt bad.
Got about an hour and a half till it's bingo and vodka time at Fridays yay.
Its been snowing off and on this evening, who knows how much there will be tomorrow.
If anyone has any suggestions on super duper uber comfy stand in all day kinda shoes let me know.. cuz I need them!
