Yay for being home, yay for starting my first day of work (and getting off early), bringing my doggie home, and chillin with my kitties!
The Look on Ellie's face was priceless, I opened the door, and she kinda cocked her head to the side..blinked and then realized it was me and got super duper happy! Now that's love. <3 I missed her like woah
The cats have been around me non stop since I got home last night and this morning and this afternoon, and twitch is laying on my arms as im trying to type now silly kitties.

But we did go to gramma and grandpa's tonight for Christmas Eve dinner.. yummy as alllllways. Whole family was there as well. My cousins I havent seen in for-ev-er. My cousin Bijhan and I used to be SO close when we were little. If we still lived close to each other we probably would still be tight.
My grandpa was really happy with the family portraits and how they came out. I think our family is so fixated on pictures because of him. It was always a huge hobby of his and sometimes even a side job he did. He's got tons and tons and tons of picture albums around the house as well as a handful or two, or cameras.
My mom, aunt, grandma and myself all sat down after dinner, dessert and presents and sorted out the pictures and what needed copies etc that took forever they are so indecisive.
We went and got family portraits done today, everyone but my grandpa since he can't really leave the house.. they came out really good.

Stupid me went out last night thought I felt well enough but that didnt last too long.
Jenny and I went to BJ's Brewhouse for dinner and her roomate Tara met up with us. It was yummy.
We tried to go to this martini bar Sapphire and have a drink but mine was so strong I couldnt drink it. Maybe if i was my normal self I could have. Everyones comments about us were OMG sara's gone blonde and jennys gone dark! it has always been the opposite lol. I got to see her parents for a few before we went out, love them.

I ended up staying at Jennys apartment, I wasn't much
fun since i felt so yucky though. I tossed and turned all night and eventually woke up to go barf my guts out. Not because of the vodka, but because of the flu - ness.
Jenny brought me back into town and my mom picked me up from my grandmas house. as soon as i got there i laid down on the couch and gramma covered me up with a blanket. its nice being around people to take care of you when you're sick!
my mom stopped at the drug store and picked up some nyquil, dayquil for tomorrow and some more cough drops
Soon as i got home i downed the nyquil and passed out. I took some more a lil while ago, but ive managed to stay awake somehow. weird. ill probably take some more here in a bit and go to sleep its only 9:15 though.
We're all supposed to go get family portraits done tomorrow at noon. so Hopefully, i can stand up long enough without dying to get ready and do all that. Then we have Christmas Eve Dinner at grammas house tomorrow night. yay for presents.
Woke up this morning without a voice. That sucked a lot. Then i started coughing up stuff, but it's all mostly clear.. which means i dont have a bad infection or anything. It's just annoying as hell. I managed to eat some oatmeal a lil while ago hopefully that agrees with me. I really wanna feel better so i can see my BFF tonight. I think a hot showers next up on my to do list.
I also found out that one of my good friends lost her baby 2 weeks ago. They told her she had Trisomy 18. I've never heard of it, but its a defect in her chromosomes and is 100% fatal. So they had to terminate the pregnancy )=
That really sucks and I feel horrible, but they told her to wait 3 months and then they can start trying again. Hopefully it goes better next time around.
So my hopes for feeling better have been smushed like a bug on a windshield.
We didnt do too much today, went for in - n - out for lunch, stopped by and saw my aunt, went to office depot, walgreens, and best buy looking for a damn 1GB memory card for my camera, finalllly found one for 19.99 at best buy.
Got some zicam chewables at walgreens and cough drops, even though my throat doesnt hurt, my mom insisted. We stopped by her work to see all the girls there they were soooooo happy to see me, and to hear that I got a job at the DMV back home, they're all.. "aaawwwee you're following in your moms footsteps!" im like ya ya SHADDUP!
Then we stopped at Gottschalks and got some cute brown work shoes, a turquoise halter top on clearance, and a cute pink earring and necklace set. By this time, my feet were hurting my back was aching and i was ready for a nap, but then...
We went to my grandma's house to help her decorate xmas cookies. here are the results.

So now, I'm laying in bed in my pj's with a heating blanket, a bottle of water and 3 ibuprofen. watching the 40 year old virgin
i had this annoying tickle of a cough last night, and this morning, my lungs kinda hurt.
I dont think i got chandoos dying germs, but i think got someones probably from the plane.
So I took some airborn this morning and now some OJ. hopefully it goes away i cant be sick for my vacation
So today was an exciting day!!

i got up this morning and finally got my mom's cat to come hang out with me and let me pet him... here's spooky:
After that, I worked on their desktop computer they said its been running slow for months. They use at&t dsl.. and when they offered a free Norton anti-virus they updated to it. BAD BAD idea. As soon as the computer started up and I could use it (about 10 minutes) I saw norton on there and immediately started taking it off, replacing it with free AVG. After a quick reboot an installation of firefox and a quick tutorial to the 'rents on how to use it and all the cool features of it, and setting my mom up with an igoogle page, my step dad was off and running on his computer. it was like brand new to him, I'm sure he was on it all day lol he's a very happy camper now.
After that we went and met my grandma at applebees for lunch, I had a yummmmy wild berry daquiri, a sirloin bistro sandwich and we all split a blondie for dessert... mmmm!
We parted ways with grandma and went off on our shopping spree!! We started off at Old Navy where almost everything was on sale. I got lots of new clothes for my new job.. see below:

My Mom ended up opening an Old Navy card and saved the 10% other wise it woulda been a 200 dollar trip.. ended up being about 150 ish... heh.
Then we headed to JCPenneys, and first off went to the shoe dept, because my feet were KILLING me. So I picked up these cute skechers. I felt much better after that, I put them on right there in the store. Oh yeah and they were on sale, and my mom had a 10 dollar off coupon. I managed to find 2 pairs of new Arizona jeans, and these two tops on clearance.
And the best find of all, this adorable berry colored purse... on sale for 40 some dollars. Plus she had another 10 dollar off coupon!
Our last stop was at Mervyns, yes, they're still around, shocked I know. We
went straight to the jewelry counter, since we didnt find anything at pennys I couldnt't live without. I did find this awesome ring on clearance. I believe she said it's a white gold lab created pink sapphire and diamond. Orignally 250 dollars, on clearance 70% off, plus yet another, 10 dollar coupon. Came to about 64 dollars.. and we get it sized for free to fit my fat finger. But, that takes about 3 weeks, so my mom will be sending it to me then. Im sure ill forget between now and then lol, here's a semi decent picture of it I took with my phone.

We stopped by my grandparents house after the shopping and hung out there showed them all of my new stuff and just chilled.
Tomorrow, we have a little more shopping to do, visiting my moms co-workers, and seeing my aunt and uncle probably. Not sure what else as of yet.
I believe I'll be seeing my BFF either saturday or sunday. I haven't seen her in about 2 years!! We're both way excited.
