Yay for Birthdays, boo for being another year older.
Can't say this was the best bday though, it was pretty damn boring actually.
Seeing as how I had to WORK for the first time EVER on my bday.
What I'm really butthurt about though is that I havent gotten a Happy Bday from ATC all day. and its now 8:30pm.
I waited until about 4 and texted him to remind him we were going to fridays after work for drinks...
He finally responded saying he just got back from fishing all day and he was gonna pass on drinks.......ok well thats fine.. a few more lil texts exchanged, and still no h.b. . . . I'm kinda in shock / disappointed I guess. Maybe he doesnt remember, maybe he doesnt care, but i've been dropping hints, and flat out being direct about it all.
Maybe he's just waiting until the party on Sunday, but STILL today is THE day and I dont think I'm being selfish by expecting a happy birthday from him. I mean i did that for him, gave him his card and present that morning.
Anyways, so me, emelina, lisa and katrina went to Fridays for happy hour and to enjoy my free bday dessert and snack on a bunch of appetizers. So that was nice.
But now I'm home, and I'm bored, and well, I havent had a lame ass bday in a long time. I guess I just need to look forward to this weekend and Melissa visiting and us having a super fun time. Yeah, that's what Ill focus on.
I also think I'm going to buy myself a single ticket to the NKOTB Concert next week. Cant find anyone to go with me, and I have no problem going by myself. I'm quite okay with that. There are still some good seats available. That may be my bday present to myself.
So there! Big EFF YOU to Washington Mutual/JPMorgan Chase. I've had all I can deal with of them, so today after work I went and closed my account and took my $78.16 with me! A holes. The guy asked me is there a reason why?... and I said oh... there's MANY REASONS WHY... he chuckled and continued on with the transaction. Didn't seem too surprised by it. I'm sure there's a lot of customers out there that have closed their accounts since Chase took over. I really don't like their customer service, all obviously over seas, outsourced BS. I hope they're the next to go under.
I have already redirected my direct deposit to my credit union savings account, so that should be good to go by next paycheck. I have to pay off an old debt to the NV credit union, and then I can open a checking account with this new one. All will be well. I still have my paypal account so my mom can send me money, and I still have a debit card to be able to use. Sooo it *should* all work out.
Melissa got her plane ticket today to come visit for my bday party!! I'm sooooooooooo essited! My boss is even letting me leave 2 hours early on Friday the 10th. I'm going to get us tickets to a Rockies game while she's here, I have a coupon for 10 dollar tickets. Kickass! So we're either going to go friday or saturday I havent quite decided yet. After the game we're gonna drink it up and party downtown! I'm totally stoked!

My mom said she ordered my bracelet/bday present last night, dunno what it looks like or when I'm getting it though... soon, maybe this week? And my grandma is giving her money for my bday present for her to deposit for me tomorrow. So that's kick ass. So yaaay my bday's a week from today! Booo for getting older though LoL.
I dont really have much to do around the house, its all pretty clean. I could put the rest of my laundry away... and maybe clean the litter box... but I dunno bout all that
So apparently I havent made an update with any real substance in it for a few days so I guess it's time, considering theres some shit that's gone down!
Lets start off with some good news. My friend Melissa, who i've known since the 3rd grade, that just found me on facebook a few weeks ago, has decided to come out and visit for my birthday!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I am SO freaking excited I can barely contain myself. I havent seen this girl in like, over 7 years. She's excited to have a weekend without kids and responsibility, and well, my life is like that every day so I will definitely be showing her a good time!! We talked for almost an hour and a half on the phone tonight, we have so much to catch up on! And its funny how much we still have in common and are soooo alike!
My birthday party is going to be on the 12th this year, since my bday is on a tuesday, but whatever, it shall still be fun! Plus i took the next day off of work so I can recover ( =
The other unfavorable (if you can say that) news is that apparently Chan and I are not on speaking terms. She de-facebooked/myspaced me LOL. Its hilarious to me actually that she's all immature about things just because I told her the truth like a GOOD friend would rather than sugar coat things and let her live in an imaginary world.
I straight up told her, she is the common denominator for all the drama in her life and she feeds off of it. She tried saying ron never said good bye to her before she left, but he showed up at her going away party, to me that counts, but she also said they were never "friends" he was just someone she talked to... uhh yeah, okay. whatever. She said that *I* was envious of *her*... lmfao. Not so much, never ever. I reminded her that the only people who think others are envious or jealous of them are shallow self-involved people such as herself. That obviously me being mature and talking to her like an adult was not working with her, and I should just be immature like Chase and maybe then she'd pay attention.
She stated that I was a half-ass shitty friend... why?... "Because I bought my plane ticket to come see her in KC even before she had moved out there"...........I'm sorry, what?! She BEGGED me to come see her and I did. So that makes me a shitty friend? For telling her the truth whether it hurts or not. I would want someone to do that for me if I was acting like an idiot. But hey, whatever. She tried to say that "she never bitched at me" when i was out "fucking half of denver", psha, whatever, lol, i said no, you never bitched at me, you ENCOURAGED ME and said if you were single, you'd a been doing the SAME EXACT THING, so point being? Oh yeah, none.
I'm not the one who moved home to mooch off my grandpa and "save money". I just moved to a diff. cheaper apartment and started paying off my bills, like a responsible big girl.
Its just shocking (kinda) that she can throw a 6+ year friendship away over me being truthful to her. This really was a long time in the making, i try to tell her lil things over a period of time, but this happened to all come out at once. Mostly because she called me a C*^T.....and to me, thats a deal breaker, and I just went off. Had she been IN CO saying that I would have beat her ass on the spot friend or not.
So in some ways its good riddance. There has been NO drama in my life the past 4 days that we havent been talking. And that is kinda nice. My phone is a lot quieter and I dont have any random ass calls from her. I've thought about writing her an email, but thats probably just adding more fuel to the fire. I made sure to let her know that shes pretty much burning all her bridges here and if/when she does come back, she's not gonna have any friends LEFT. She said she didnt care about burning her bridge with me. So, that's on her. WTFever. It's stupid really.
This is one of the main reasons I have VERY FEW female friends. They are all so much drama.
Anyways, I'm glad tomorrows friday. Wish it was payday though. Booooo. I really have nothing to look forward to going to work tomorrow. LAAAAME. It's been pretty warm here the last few nights and it amazingly hasnt rained in like, 2 days i think. But because my ac doesnt work i wake up like, overheating at night and that sucks. I have a fan on but it can only do so much. It's causing my scalp to break out cuz i wake up sweating. Super lame.
Rons taking me to the movies tomorrow night to see The Proposal.. YUM Ryan Reynolds.. he is on Jimmy Fallon tonight too yay! I received 7 pounds from NetFlix today, and Im going to try and not watch it until I see ATC on saturday so we can see it together.
I got my new bra's in the mail yesterday and theyre super duper cute! Today i got my car-phone charger and USB cable from ebay. Kickass! It's like christmas this week!
Well I think thats enough for now I should probably go get ready for bed. Maybe sleep good for once this week and not wake up still feeling exhausted. We'll see!

Yesterday was my last day at the DMV, awe so sad. We went to happy hour at TGIFridays to celebrate!
Yeah, I got there at 415... and we left around 930.... Im guessing our bill was probably in the range of about 300 dollars.
For about 10-15 people.... Some people only stayed a while and then left early and paid their part of the bill and some of mine, awesome people ! We had a buttload of drinks, appetizers, and shots.
Once we got the final bill, it was about 239 dollars.. so those of us that had cash threw in about $105....ATC paid for the rest. I told him it wasn't necessary, that the others all had money, but he insisted since it was my party. So He ended up paying about $140 dollars. Im sure our awesome server *Kitty walked away with a lot of money that night considering 18% tip was included and he gave another $20 on top of that.
Wait, I think ATC put cash in too.. WTF crazy man I swear. Anyways, Im glad we left early I was drunk and tired, and so was he. Stopped by Taco Bell on the way home and that was fitting.
Today is ATC's birthday. I ended up getting him the Colorado State Parks pass. It was *only* 60 bucks, which I really didnt have to spend but oh well. He spends tons of me. So I gave him that in a card this morning and he was stoked about it. Poor guy has to work on his birthday, that sucks. But he mentioned he wants to hang out with me tonight as well, so that's all good (=
In about an hour I've gotta go check out another apt, From the pics Ive seen its cute, and remodled, wood floors, new kitchen, and laundry room in the buildling and very close to the new job.
So I just found out today that ATC's birthday is April 4th. That gives me less than 2 weeks to figure out his bday present.
Now we didn't do anything for Xmas presents or Vday, but b-days you just can't pass that up, even when you're relationship is still pretty much "undefined".
So, what do you get the outdoors man who's been slacking on the outdoorsy-ness that he loves?
He hunts, he fishes, he hikes, he skis, brews his own beer, likes to grill...all that stuff.. and well Colorado has an abundance of all that, but it is not my forte. He has a buttload of guns, he has a small pontoon boat, and just about all accessories needed for hunting.
Im wondering maybe there's some kind of park pass I could get him, that would make him get his butt out there and do somethings. I know its stuff he loves and used to do in Idaho, and if he would just get out here and go do some of it, he'd surely enjoy Colorado much more.
So, gimme some ideas everyone, help a girl out!
And remember, I AM on a limited budget... I'd say... under $100.

Then we headed over to 5 Degrees where we had reservations for bottle service and they were actually very nice and accommodating. They gave us 3 options of where we could sit, so of course we picked by the dance floor.
We got a bottle of Absolute Raspberry, drank all of it and shook our butts on the dance floor (=
