When you have a working AC unit!! Hells yeah!! That's right everyone, I finally got a brand spankin new AC unit put in, and a custom made screen for my window!!!!!!!!!! It took them about 4 hours but they got it done and I've been relaxing in my AC's apartment all evening. I hope I sleep good tonight!

I slept a ton better with my 2 new pillows last night, I ALMOST went back and bought more today, but I decided to think about it instead.

I got 2 b-day cards in the mail today w/$125 in them, combined that is. And now that I have money, I don't know what to buy??   Went to Kohls today, and all I found was a turquoise knit coverup sweater thing on clearance for 8 bucks.

Thinking I need to pick up a pencil skirt. Because almost everyone on What not to wear gets one and it looks good. I may go to JCP tomorrow and see what they have. There was a cute one on their website, but it was outlet only, and out of my size. Dammit!

Ugh Ive got like 3 hangnails of doom right now They are driving me crazy! I just put some neosporin on them hopefully that will help over night.

There's an ad, over to the right of this window, for dunkin donuts coffee coolatta... thanks, now I want one. Jerks.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~!!!!

So i finally got a hold of the maintenance people today, and they said, they dont actually service my property, thats up to the owner ARGH WTF DUDE.

So i call my leasing agent and go the fuck off on him.

Apparently it was a known fact that my AC wouldnt work because they cut the power cord when they installed the carpet. wonderful. AND NO ONE DECIDED THAT TELLING ME WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA???

As far as the fridge goes theyre trying to put part of the blame on me, that they couldnt fix it in time because I was out of town and I told them they couldnt come in w/o me there because of the dog. I dont think thats unreasonable. But whatever. So i went off on him and I went off on the VM of the lady @ the office, not that she cares she never does.

A different repair company called me back and said they can come out between 12-2 today.. which means Ill have to take off of work, which i told my leasing agent was an inconvenience for me, and he said "WELL, THAT'S LIFE"... what?!?!!? are you effing kidding me?!

So i told him I STILL need a screen put on my window and that AC unit needs to be fixed/replaced/whatever ASAP beause its going to be hot in Denver soon..well whenever it stops raining...

So now Im trying to calm myself down and chill out. Get my blood pressure back down to a semi normal range and not go off on anyone else for the time being. Ive gotta go home on lunch and put the bunnies in the bathroom and lock the cats in there as well. Theyre supposed to call me on their way so I can meet them. It would be great if they could get there at noon since thats my lunch hour anyways. Luckily my boss is pretty cool about things and doesnt mind that I have to take care of it. 

Deep breaths... deep breaths....  

I went home last night, wasn't productive at all, other than stopping by the Dollar Store for Toilet Paper, proceeded to watch tv and then fall the fuck asleep at 7:15 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

uHMMMM yeah that's not normal. I want to blame it on the heat. Thats all I can think of. I got a call that woke me up, but I went right back to sleep in my bed after the conversation.

I woke up around 9:30, got a drink fed the animals, and then back to bed I went again.

I love the vaulted ceilings but they're sucking up all my AC and keeping the rest of the house hot. I've got my fan on 24/7 but that only helps so much. I'm hoping that my curtains get delivered today and that they'll help out in keeping the place cooler.

In turn, hopefully I can be productive.
