Woe's and Yay's

Oh where to start where to start...

Today started off decent... by noon I hadn't heard from the leasing company, so I gave him a call after lunch, and heard back from him around 2 ish... he said that my credit history is kinda shitty (not those exact words, but i already knew that) and it's not something the company would usually try to take on, BUT, IF I could show that I was in the midst of paying things off, and making an attempt at correcting things, then they could work with me on it. (score!) 

Now my dilemma was, well FUCK how am I going to do that?!

So I raced home after work and went through the pile of papers on my table. Luckily I hadn't thrown everything away yet. I threw a bunch of crap away the other day, but these things, thank goodness I over looked them.

I managed to call 3 different collection companies, and set up payment plans for all of them. Ranging from 4 months to 18. With manageable monthly payments. Why didn't I do this before? Because it wouldn't have been manageable.

One of them was able to email me the promise letter, and the other 2 will be faxing them to me @ work tomorrow morning. If not I will be on their ass like cats on tuna fish. I have one other company I need to call tomorrow during business hours.  I want to get this all straightened out and taken care of by Friday. And be able to put a deposit down.

I think I can probably print off something from Sallie Mae showing my re-payment plan for my school loans, and something maybe from the IRS showing my tax payments.... hmmm hmmm hmmmmm

During work we were also notified that will have another mandatory Furlough day the Friday before Memorial Day. Meaning we'd have a 4 day weekend instead of just 3. Again, one being unpaid. (Boo). But that gave me a bright idea. Since Chantelle is leaving me this Saturday for Kansas City, that gives me a good excuse for a vacation!! Plus free room and board. So, I checked Southwest, and they were having a kick-ass sale $69 each way.(ending today) Yes I know I just said Im having money issues, but this is where good 'ol Mom comes in to play. (=

I asked, she said yes. She claims it will be part of my b-day present... I said ehhh okay.. but im sure you'll forget by my bday and ill think of something else I want (=  So, I'll be leaving for KC may 21st, and returning the 25th.  I will have to figure out something with the animals.. since Josh moved to Oklahoma i dont have an insta-pet-sitter.... ATC may be an option (if i get the apt) I also have another friend out that way... actually, I have 2 of them come to think of it. . . . .

I may even ask ATC if he wants to join me in KC, who knows.. its not super exciting, but its something to do for a weekend. We'll see we'll see. 

So if ya'll could please cross your fingers for me that this apt thing works out in my favor, i'd be mucho appreciative of it and send some good karma juju your way when its your turn!
