QotD: Random Acts of Kindness

What was your random act of kindness today?

k well, I haven't had one yet today I don't think...... but let me tell you what happened to me on Saturday at Wal-Mart of all places.

I run in just to get some cheese to make me a yummy grilled cheese sandwich, and I pass by this elderly lady pulling out into the aisle with her cart and scoot outta the way a lil and go on my way to the cheesey goodness department...

After I grabbed my Shredded Sharp Chedder I start to head towards the front and she stops me and says the following.....

Excuse me young lady, ... Yes?????.... I just wanted to compliment you, those colors look so wonderful on you and compliment your skin perfectly, you're just a beautiful girl.....

I was FLOORED. I didn't know what to say. I was just like awe... thank you so much! I'm not great at accepting compliments but from someone who was nice enough and reminded me of my grandma it wasn't that hard to say thank you.

At first I thought she was going to criticize me for my tattoos or something. I was wearing my new old navy olive green shorts, and an off white and olive green halter top and white flip flops.... It WAS a cute outfit i have to admit...and for someone else to recognize that, was awesome .
